My affinity..for this..as I'm doing a VLDB with 6650s and RH 7.2 sgi-xfs
1.0.2 is to use a new kernel from the -aa tree.

the 2.4.9 doesn't have the latest VM stuff and such..the -aa tree works
very well in this regard. I can lend any help if necessary.
I've got a 4P box..1.6Ghz 1MBL3 and I saw 4 on boot.

To get P4 support though..you'll need to get a new kernel, or just
recompile. The -AA tree is supersweet.
