Hi,
I am running XFS on my 3 file servers. At the beginning of this week ı found
one of servers fs hass been shut. Two days before coruption my storage
device has given timeouts and I had to reboot my servers. After rebooting
all came online again and ran fine for two days. Then one of them failed. I
was running linux-2.4.9 at this time , and the old xfsutils. After
corruption rebooted the server , umount the fs and then ran xfs_repair.
Xfs_repair didn't give any error and fixed the fs. The other day fs became
corrupted again. Then I updated my kernel to 2.4.18 and xfsprogs (from 1.1
release rpms). After this , running xfs_repair ends with error.(I attached
the repair.log)
I'm runnig XFS on LVM. Only root fs on local disk. All other disks are on a
storage device. The servers have Qlogic2100 HBA's. 2/3 works fine , but one
server is has a corrupted fs now and it makes my work too hard. It's an NFS
file server and when it's down all my work stops.
Any idea about what can i do?? (Worst case mkfs the fs and return from
backup. Please another solution.)
Sorry for my english.
