This is not a viable solution (IMHO). Some kernels (the Linus ones) just have broken 32 bit uid support in quotas (so Alan Cox says). The RedHat ones at least have working quota support I believe. This mess needs to be fixed in Linux, not Samba. In the meantime we will need to include whatever system headers provided to get working quota support when creating binary packages on Linux distributions. Jeremy. |
