Suse is probably trying to cover themselves here.  Since XFS isn't in
the Linus kernel, it's not "officially" supported by the regualar linux
kernels.  That means that if you want to upgrade your kernel in the
future you have to apply patches.

Also most of the distributions are just now starting to ship with XFS
included so it's more of a double warning.

I've been running on XFS for quite a while now with no XFS related
problems.
