The patch simply changes ROOT_PREFIX and PREFIX from environment variables to configure options, it doesn't add new functionality (ie. you can achieve the above with the existing build system). Unfortunately it has some side-effects on some parts of the build process which were not foreseen; it shouldn't be too difficult to fix though, and Nigel is working on it. cheers. -- Nathan |
