Hi

I'm using the preempt patch since 2.4.9 with linux-xfs, and the lockbreak
patch since 2.4.16. Mostly without problems. Some weeks ago there were
2.4.18 xfs kernel which had "exit with preempt_count" errors. Newer CVS
kernels are fine.

Using the preempt (and lockbreak) patch and nice the X server to -10 give a
great interactive performance.
