it works just fine in the 7.1 installation. Your first scsi tape will be referred to as /dev/st0 and/or /dev/nst0. Tar, xfsdump/xfsrestore, etc, all make use of it just fine. The program "mt" provides minor diagnostic and administrative functions for the tape drive. man mt for more info. On Tue, 28 May 2002, Bernhard R.
