Addendum:
*) Add the 2.4.18 XFS kernel RPMS as well
     (rpms with Redhat specific patches or even the -aa kernel
      would be an interesting/useful addition)


The sizes of the ISO images were about the same, give or take a
megabyte.  This is without doing the boot image part of the process yet.
