Well, while devfsd wasn't necessarily running, it seems to have been a problem...at least, it was installed. I ran rpm -e devfsd, and rebooted. The permissions came up wrong, so I changed them and rebooted, again. This time, the permissions came up right. <shrug> Thanks, everyone, for all the suggestions. |
