I was thinking of the SuSE kernel. Wasn't aware that the queue flushing
has been merged into 2.5 yet. My work was on 2.4-SuSE, but could be 
probably ported to 2.5 (but I'm waiting a few releases first before
I let 2.5 near my IDE disks again...)
