At long last, a prerelease of the upcoming XFS 1.1 release is available
at

ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/download/testing/xfs-1.1

These packages are a pre-release of the upcoming 1.1 release of XFS
for Linux. They have been sanity-checked, but not heavily tested
at SGI, and as such are intended for testing purposes.

They may in fact be bulletproof, but that's for you to decide
before you use them in a critical environment!

The XFS code in this release is very close to what is currently in CVS,
with some of the most recent, least tested changes omitted.

Kernels are available for x86 and ia64, based both on the vanilla Linux
2.4.18 kernel, and on the Red Hat 2.4.9-31 kernel release.

Please test 'em, benchmark 'em, break 'em, and let us know what you
find.

Thanks,

-Eric
