After following a suggestion from Chris Pascoe and using the patch from Eric
with regards to the xfs_freeze problem the issue of the LVM snapshot overflow
failing in a script has been resolved. However, now the snapshot is not
consistent after the freeze. I believe that Chris will be sending an email
with more information to Eric.
