I'm 99.99% sure this fixed the extremely frustrating problem I had been having with VMWare 3.0. This bug surfaced as soon as I installed 2.4.17 and no one until now has been able to say why it was happening, but my Virtual Machine would just commit suicide after about 20 minutes of operation. After this patch, I've been running for 2 days w/o a problem. Thank you! Brian Yes, it looks like this was a regression in the code introduced sometime inJanuary. I think this time it is running correctly, and I now have a large number of test cases to check before making changes in this area again. Steve |
