Hey folks,

I have a stock redhat 7.2 with all of the users space xfs stuff added
and a vanilla patched 2.4.17-xfs-smp kernel. That can't connect via port 25
to certain hosts. When I down rev my kernel to 2.4.14-xfs-smp, it goes
away. (I don't think there is anything special about 2.4.14, it is just the
previous kernel I had)

Hardware
- dual PIII 1GHz
- dual eepro100 using e100.o or eepro100.o as drivers

Hosts I couldn't connect to
- mta01.cdpd.airdata.com
- mail.mailzone.net
Plus others

I haven't been able to find anyone else with networking issues under 2.4.17,
so I figured maybe it is a 2.4.17-xfs specific thing. Anybody had similar
issues? Can anyone else using 2.4.17-xfs-smp try to telnet to these hosts
over port 25 and tell me if they get the same problem?

Thanks,
Gabe
