I'm not very sure about the results. Using the patched tree.c xfsrestore runs well on that particular test case restoring the level 3 dump. Using -B, the permissions aren't restored on ., but I'm not very sure if the permissions I'd expect were there at backup time. Some other cumulative dumps can be restored without problems using the unpatched version of tree.c. I'll check if xfsrestore's interactive mode can tell me something about the mode . was backed up. |
