Testing realtime subvolumes is on my list of things to do.

To use realtime subvolumes, you need to call an ioctl after you open
the file.  This is tell XFS to write the the realtime subvolume instead
of the regular data subvolumes.  i.e. you'll probably need to make a
change to your video capture app.

Test your application to see if XFS without realtime subvolumes gives
you enough bandwidth.
