Hi!
Well... that's one of the things I tested first, and I found that to
work... (and mailed those good results to the list).
Also, when I switch back to 2.4.16-xfs _again_ I could remove the
"å"-file I had just created under 2.4.17-xfs, which made me feel a
little bit better... as that showed that at least the FS integrity was
ok, eventhough 2.4.17-xfs even after that patch is a bit shaky.
