Unfortunately this is a specific issue which a patch and email I just
sent out fixes. Andrea Arcangeli has a fix for this problem in that
series, so I got a 2.4.17-RC2aa2 and patch worked a 2.4.17-xfs kernel
into shape. Now I need some people to test and fix. If someone could do
that I'd really really appreciate the help. I've been working with it
all night. I'll be up as long as it takes. to fix this thing.

Austin, your patch was too big for the list, it was bounced, 400000 bytes is
as large as the list will allow. Also since this list goes out to over 700 people, it is probably best not to post something this large to the list, but to put it on
an ftp site somewhere.

I suspect your patch included a lot of stuff from XFS and Andrea, it is probably simpler to point people at the relevant patches and then add in your changes as
a distinct patch on top of that.

Steve

p.s. it is still only Friday!
