Hi,

Eric, is it possible to correct one big mistake in the anaconda ?
During install process on i686 instaler chooses binaries compiled
fir i686 platform which makes such a instal unusable on Pentium MMX,
K6, Cyrix etc.
I'm administering one network in wchich such a "weak" machines
exists but they have old 4x cdroms (CDRW and many CDR reading problems)
or have no CD at all. They should be switched off as short as possible
so I'm instaling and configuring system for them on spare disc in the
other machine. There was no problem when I was working on the old
Pentium but now I have p3 and this makes a problem.
Ideal way to correct instaler is to add one check box to disable
installation of i686 specific binaries.

BTW, ISO images are clled "i386" so such a "optimization"
is a big mistake.

Regards,
Blizbor

I'll take a look and see what all is on the updates disk.

Are you hitting any of these problems, or just asking? :)
