Thanks, that sure should have hit me. Funny thing is that there is
something else too, because the system was working fine, then I tried
glxgears, and crashed. Fine, memory corruption. But then something
else got screwed (maybe because of my "corrective measures",
something in the bios?) because now after several reinstalls it isn't
stable as it used to be before. But thanks, I'll make sure I disable
it. that's gotta help
