Hi,

this _may_ be a devfs config thing. I had similar problems on my home
machine (the only box I risk trialing devfs on) when I went from 2.4.9
to 2.4.11.

kdb showed the machine looping at a (different) devfs_do_symlink stage.

Try getting a newer devfsd (1.3.20 is current - I'm still using 1.3.18).

See my message
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-xfs&m=100376435115621&w=2 to see
if you tink your config is similarly out of date.

My apologies if this isn't devfs related and I'm just adding random
noise.

nic
