Hello,

Our mail server was running kernel 2.4.5 + XFS, in a raid 1
configuration for /. After about 100 days, it started deadlocking
processes and doing weird things, so I tried to reboot it and upgrade to
2.4.17+xfs, the shutdown was hectic and resulted in the reset switch due
to more deadlocking processes. So I thought it would be smart to run
xfs_repair.

I used the Release 1.0.2 installer rescue mode to try this. One thing I
have noticed between 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 is with 1.0.1, you could have the
installer search and find your installation, then unmount
/mnt/sysimage/boot and /mnt/sysimage then run xfs_repair, with 1.0.2 you
now have to skip the auto detection of the installation as if you do
mount the installation, you are now unable to unmount /mnt/sysimage.

so I inserted the raid1 module and tried to run xfs_repair on the raid
device and I keep getting invalid superblock errors and repair will not
run, if I let it detect the installation it mounts it fine (so the
superblock isn't missint or corrupted) but I'm unable to repair since I
can't unmount.

Is this a bug, or something that I'm needing to do and missing?

Thanks
