There are details on the web site of the XFS kernel patches which you can obtain for recent kernels. Also, instructions for getting the latest stable kernel (currently 2.4.17) from SGI's CVS server are provided; this is what most subscribers to this list tend to do. If you are not experienced at kernel compilation I would suggest reading the kernel HOWTO and other relevant documents: see http://www.linuxdoc.org/ as a good starting point. |
