How difficult would it be to add some form of secure deletion to XFS?
What I would like to have is the ability to mark a file or directory for
secure deletion via a attribute. Three levels of security would be nice.
1) None, just your usual unlink.
2) Simple, unlink and one time overwrite (with zeros or random data).
3) Ultraparanoid DoD certified secure delete, unlink and multipass
overwrite.
Any thoughts?
