Hi, I have installed clean RH7.2 on one free partition on my machine. Removed RH gcc, installed compat-egcs, compiled new kernel (2.4.17) with xfs (using the same sources as previous) and ... no problems. So I moved kernel, modules to my working system, and ... it works. So something with my system is wrong, and the problems are not XFS related. Now, I have to find what :(( Or compiler, or glibc I suppose. I have RH 7.1, with updated glibc to 2.2.4-14 (on the new installed 7.2 is 2.2.4-13), and I use egcs from RH 6.x. And on the new I installed compat-egcs and compat-glibc-6.2-2.1.3.2. Regards, Olaf Fraczyk |
