  I forgot to mention that you need to patch the fs/rules.cml file if
you are to use CML2 build system from ESR. The attached adds support for
the menu selection items that relate to the symbols from the previous
patch I posted. 

To recap, I am supplying a total of 2 patches. They each do the
following:

Patch 1: symbols.cml patch 
        This patch adds the XFS_ POSIX_ symbols that the new
        make system needs to enable XFS support.
Patch 2: fs/rules.cml patch
        This patch adds the menu selections to allow for the 
        selection of the XFS filesystem and POSIX ACL
        support.

        You should ONLY use these patches if you are using
        Eric S. Raymond's CML2 build system from
        http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/cml2/
