Here is a single unified patch that will actually let you boot the
kernel the other 2 patches will make. :)

Order of use:
  1. Untar kernel source tree(2.4 currently), or get it from CVS.
  2. updatedb
  3. untar cml2 sources from http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/cml2/
  4. cd cml2-1.9.13
  5. ./install-cml2
  6. choose your linux/ path you want to install cml2 for.
  7. cd into linux/ source dir
  8. bzcat cml2-1.9.13-xfs_enable.patch.bz2 | patch -p1
  9. $make config (the new 'make config' will probably
default to X unless you're at a VT. you can still
     'make menuconfig' though.)

You can provide feedback to me directly if anything is particularly
"wrong" with this patch. I performed the above
steps from beginning to end without failure. I hope they work
for you too.

There is no warranty, garaunty, or otherwise positive possibility that
this will work 100%, other than I'm saying, 'It worked for me. It should
work for you.' YMMV and good luck.
