No offense, but that's *NOT* a good way to start. The problem is
downloading, *NOT* the release. ;-PPP

Consider using a non-web browser to download the software, or a
browser/download "helper."

In the case of the former, the most one to use to me is ncftp. Shell
over to your Linux server and run "ncftp ftp://..."; and it should
download. Depending on the ncftp version, you may need to run that
command with everything _but_ the filename (i.e. ftp://..., but without
the RH7.2... part), then say "get RH7.2..." interactively.

The the case of the latter, sorry, I don't use Windows regularly. But
does anyone know if there is something similar to the Gnome Transfer
Manager (GTM) under Windows? Something that works with browsers (e.g.,
I use the Galeon browser, and configure it to use GTM for downloads)?

Both Netscape and MS IE royally suck at downloads, especially MS IE with
that stupid "FTP like directory" BS. Mozilla (and Galeon) are better,
but a non-browser, download-specialty app is what I find best.
Especially one that can work with browsers -- like GTM does with
Gnome-Bonobo compliant browsers (e.g., Galeon). You'd figure someone
has created something similar for Windows (at least shareware)???
