Quotas are maintained within xfs - and journalled, only if xfs detects a
problem at mount time is a quotacheck needed, and xfs does this itself
in the kernel. So basically the quotacheck command is not needed for
xfs.
To prove this, mount xfs with quotas - the first time it should print
some messages about building quota state. If you unmount and remount
with quotas it will do nothing, if you unmount and then remount without
quotas, then remount again with quotas it will perform the same check
again.
