Hi,
Reading lkml I got a little bit confused.
Could anyone tell me what compiler is recommended for latest kernel with xfs support. Is it safe to stay with egcs, or I should move to gcc 2.95.3 or something else?

There have been just a few reports of problems with 2.95.3 so it is mostly safe. If you want to be sure use egcs. This has been the most tested.

Cheers

Every program has two purposes one for which
it was written and another for which it wasn't
I use the last kind.
