That's significantly less than 3ware's MSRP.  Where are you
buying from?  (We're thinking of getting a card or two
ourselves, but are a little hesitant about the stated price -
and about the fact that no-one seems to have them in stock.)

They're discontinued. 3ware discontinued their whole Escalade series a few weeks ago.

They're just gonna sell their Palisades (IP Storage)
