It works fine for me as well.  I have a GeForce2, and everything works great.
I found that after upgrading from RH 7.1 to 7.2, I had to reinstall both the
NVIDIA_kernel and GLX packages, and then redo the XF86Config and XF86Config-4
files.

After that, everything worked great.
