XFS and patching kernel 2.4.13

I'm seeing good results with kernel 2.4.13 and do not want to continue
with a higher kernel version (because it will break other programs, etc)

I'm curious if i should use the developemental patch, since i don't see
a stable patch available for the kernel version 2.4.13 here.

Any ideas on howto acquire the most stable version of XFS for my
relevant kernel? (kernel already has one XFS patch, but I don't even
know which version it is yet.)
