ext3 and xfs are different implementations of journalling filesystems. ext3
is ext2 with journalling added. You cannot just use redhat 7.2 to mount xfs
filesystems, you will need one of the kernel rpms we have supplied on
the oss ftp site - currently in the testing directory.
If you want to look at irix disks then you need to build irix
partition support into the kernel, I am not sure redhat does
that by default. You will then be able to mount irix disks partitioned
with fx. You will not be able to mount xlv or xvm volumes though.
