I probably won't report it to the gcc folks, since their latest compiler (3.0.1)
does not exhibit this bug any longer. (Or maybe that's just lucky... perhaps I
should report it anyway).
When RH7.2 comes out (soon?) I'll check their compiler and report it to them if
it's still there. It exists in the stock Mandrake 8.1 compiler, and I have
notified them.
