I haven't tried GFS lately but it was pretty easy to get going
except for the stomith. However stability was a different issue.
I was using GFS 4.0.X under Alpha and could bring it down easy.
I have no experience with Intel or the latest GFS.

You can buy support from them. Maybe the cost is reasonable if you
aren't trying to do too much.

IBM has recently released GPFS for Linux. It doesn't appear to
just be a software solution as you have to buy their SAN and other
equipement. A cool feature though is it looks to have a fowarding
file system running over myrinet to provide high performance IO to
all nodes of the cluster. Looks pricey though.

ADIC has a product called CentraVision File System (CVFS). IT is
a shared filesystem that came from the SGI world. They have been
improving it and porting it to other platforms. It does support
Linux/Intel 2.4.X. I think it is available now. I haven't checked
lately. I don't know the cost though.
