Beyond chatting with Peter at the 2.5 kernel summit and various discussions
since then no. Right now we are very bandwidth limited and taking on things
like this is not something we can do right now. I am looking over the changes
Peter has and will probably check them into the tree, but really unless
someone external to SGI has the bandwidth and expertise to do this, it is
not going to make progress. We will be happy to answer questions should
someone undertake the project.
