Well, 2.4.5 was the latest heavily tested formal release from us, look
at the 1.0.1 release.

Mandrake has also just released a 2.4.8-ac4-based kernel, and tested it
heavily as well.  You're playing with bleeding edge kernels... can you
back up a version or two and see how it goes?

How are you creating these systems, with what install method?

You have multi-million $$ filesystems running on linux-2.4.12?  You're a
