You will have to flip the LBA addressing switch back and forth to see if it 
is correct. If your lilo.conf has the linear option included you might try 
removing it and running lilo again.

It has to do with the LBA translation or lack of it. Sometimes it is also 
called Large disk support or something to do with DOS.
