Yes - you need a patched fileutils - Andreas' ACL website has a
patch which has been reported to work with the XFS libacl also.

Yes - Andreas' getfacl/setfacl tools, which we include in the
XFS ACL package now (see cvs tree), were designed for just this
purpose.  There is a known ACE ordering bug in the libacl code
that this sits above though, so YMMV at the moment.  Feel free
to fix the problem, its just not reached the top of anyone's
ToDo list here at the moment.
