Hi! I know, that the current kernel is not for gcc 3.01, but my compiler complains about the xfs code. The message is the following: gcc ... xfs_super.c {standard input}:Assembler messages: {standard input}:1116: Error: suffix or operands invalid for 'bsf' the kernel has compiled with gcc 3.0, but the current version, which is gcc 3.01 08.30. netwinder rpm not. I'd like to use gcc 3.01 because of better athlon optimisations, so please help me. By the way, I have tried with the newest binutils, which is 2.11.90 and with the 2.9 series. I don't think it's a gcc issue, because gcc 3.01 has fewer bugs than gcc 3.0, as the tests show. thx Paco |
