You're absolutely right -- I don't need to rebuild the firmware. (I didn't
look close enough at what Steve L. said -- sorry).
I removed that option and got an error that aic7xxx_seq.h was missing (blown
away by previous errors). I re-loaded from CVS and it worked like a
champ -- thanks to both of you.
Furthermore, I put in the hack suggested by Steve L. this morning to fix the
acl/mask problem with nfsd, and hack though it be, SPEC is happy now.
Jeez - this was actually a productive day! <sigh>
