Hi Eric, Walter,

I had the same problem.  Setting up RAID with the graphical installer
works if you boot with "linux updates" and use the updates disk. 
However, I first tried "text updates" (I didn't have a mouse) but
setting up RAID was not an option in the text installer.  I had to
borrow a mouse and use the graphical installer, then it worked.
