Hi! Nvidia drivers works well for me with devfs, if you do the following: patch the driver with the unofficial devfs patch, install the driver as in the documetation, and put the following lines into modules.conf: alias /dev/nvidia0 NVdriver alias /dev/nvidiactl NVdriver and that's all, you won't have to recreate anything in dev after reboot.
