Hello: John Trostel wrote, > I remember reading several posts a bit ago about people having > difficulty compiling VMWare under the newer kernels now in the XFS > CVS. Has anyone (re)built the VMWare modules with the latest XFS CVS > trees? Heh, i just asked the very same thing yday on irc.debian.org. Basically, u need to update a couple of files in the vmmon.tar file (driver.c IIRC). I can mail in the updated vmmon.tar if its ok with you as i don't remember the specific changes. IAC, google should be able to provide you with a suitable link which describes the procedure. I now just need to fix the stupid locking complaint that VMware gives out every time i start it from the XFS home partition. -- Shanu -- ------------------------------------------( Shanu )----- Shanker Balan http://people.exocore.com/shanu God is silent.
