With the just checked-in fix for the FIBMAP issues, I wonder if you will
get better performance for XFS using the latest CVS copy. Also, Alan Cox
has just released ac4 which contains a lot of ReiserFS fixes. While I know
it will be very difficult to have an XFS-patched ac kernel, you may be
able to have two separate kernels that have otherwise similar
configurations (save for ReiserFS and XFS support)? This will allow you to
test the latest kernels with support for both filesystems.
