scsi module sym53c8xx fails on 1.0.1 PR3

Eric, et al.

I know this is probably not an XFS related thing, but a standard kernel
breakage, but the sym53c8xx scsi module fails to load on 1.0.1 PR3 when
booted off of the CD.  This works fine with XFS 1.0

the module attempts to load and sits there spining on scsi timeouts.  I
cannot run the installer on this particular box without this module, so
I will try to install with 1.0 and then boot off of new kernel or use a
cvs version.
