I too have a system up and running with a 3.0 kernel. I thought I had one
chunk of code which was failing under 3.0 which did not fail before, but
it appears to have gone intermittent on me. Also remember that in the
past we have been bitten by different back ends to gcc having different
problems. Adam, which platform are you compiling for?
