Using these rpms, I saw this on bootup:

md: syncing RAID array md1
md: minimum _guaranteed_ reconstruction speed: 100 KB/sec/disc.
md: using maximum available idle IO bandwith (but not more than 100000 KB/sec)
for reconstruction.

(etc.)

This is with a CMD648 (rev. 1) controller on an ASUS CUBX (rev
D) board.

Anybody know if these errors ("DriveReady SeekComplete Error",
"DriveStatusError BadCRC") are serious? They only occur on
bootup, and they occur consistently at this point during bootup.
They have occured identically and consistently on two separate
machines, with two different drive sets and two different BIOS
revisions in them. They do not occur with the kernel-2.4.2-2
provided with RH7.1.

And if they are serious, who should I inform about them?
