Hi guys:

As we know, Now official xfs cvs tree is sync with linux-2.4.x-pre series
kernel tree, And there is another kernel tree : linux-2.4.x-AC, And RedHat's
kernel is base on that tree ( Though they split the ac's patch ), It is a
little diffcult to apply xfs patch to AC's kernel ( Same as RedHat's rawhide
kernel), Is it useful to maintain such XFS patch toward AC's kernel?

There are is not enough time or people that can do it available.
Alan can produce -ac patches at an alarming rate.

They can't cope with that at the moment. Volunteers may apply.

it was written and another for which it wasn't
I use the last kind.
